While discussing the finer points of extra tart granny smith apples, I discovered I like my apples how I like my women....spicy and hateful.

"own your suck" and "there's enough suck to go around" are mine. Any use of them is approved, but ownership is mine. I've been using them for quite some time with no known prior usage. I'm not judging, just sayin'.

...so, I’m driving west on Dr Martin Luther King Blvd today going to a customer’s. Every city has one that intersects with a Eclid Ave. That’s not new. I think this is unique to St Louis. Cadillac cut into an El Camino style truck, on top of a monster truck four wheeler suspension! I did a triple take. I may have to go back just to document this sighting.

Not really a rant nor a blog. I just had to tell someone.

Ricki was just in town, visiting and going to the Card’s opening day. That was way more fun than I thought. Very glad to have gone. Ricki is a super duper gift giver. Very thoughtful and very unique gifts. This visit she brought to me a book of thousands of swears in dozens of dozens of languages. VERY COOL! I should be able to get my ass kicked or a chuckle on every part of every continent of the world. I’m have considered doing a ’swear of the day’ right here. Let me know what you think.

That’s just something I thought worth mentioning. Rick also expressed a disappointment in my lack of rants. I must explain. Not only am I aware that I’m most likely only funny to myself, but right now most of my creative venom is without anonymity. That’s all I can say. I have tried to get some of these dicey tidbits in verse, but by the time I cloak the characters, my rhythm and mood have left me with an unsuitable monologue.

...but I have a correction.

A 20-14-5 record doens't make you six games over .500. That record is one-half game over .500. 20 wins out of 39 tries. Yes, there is a point given for the regulation tie game, but there was still a loss. A good record, none the less.
